Iain joined the Board as Non-Executive Chairman in October 2007, with some 20 years’ experience in corporate finance and investment, gained with Lazard Brothers, Robert Fleming and Fleming Family & Partners. Since 2000 he has been involved in the establishment of a number of new businesses, with a focus on financial services, and on investment in natural resources in a number of emerging markets.

He is also a member of the Advisory Council of Good Governance Group, the strategic advisory group focused on investment risk in emerging markets, and is Chairman of Tusk Trust, the leading UK-based charity focused on wildlife conservation in

Mr Kerr brings a diverse range of exploration, mine geology and commercial experience to Lithic Metals & Energy.
As the former Business Development Manager for Mincor Resources, Mr Kerr was closely involved in the acquisition of numerous nickel sulphide deposits from WMC Ltd Western Australia and their subsequent development into profitable mines.
Mr Kerr was also involved in the successful creation of ASX listed Tethyan Copper Company Ltd, which developed the Reko Diq copper / gold project in Pakistan that was successfully taken over by Barrick Gold in 2006. Mr Kerr graduated in 1988 with a BSc in geology from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and holds a MSc (HD) in Mineral Economics from the WA School of Mines and Curtin University. Mr Kerr is a Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Society of Economic Geologists.
Mr Julian Peter Ford,
Mr Ford has worked for a number of major resources companies including Alcoa Australia Limited, British Gas plc, Western Metals Limited and Rustenburg Platinum Mines Limited. During this period, Mr Ford has held a number of senior management positions including General Manager of NiWest Limited (an exploration company). He has also held senior marketing, project management and commercial management positions. He graduated in 1987 with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa, and later completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of South Africa and a Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Western Australia. Mr Ford is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and is currently the Managing Director of Zambezi Resources. He was appointed as a Director of Zambezi on 18 July 2005.
David John Lunt David has over 40 years of experience in the resources industry, principally in the fields of mineral process engineering, corporate technical planning, feasibility studies, project commissioning management and risk analysis. His background includes a long association with GRD Minproc, where he most recently held the position of Chief Technical Officer for 10 years until 2005, when he established his own consultancy firm Stirling Process Engineering Pty Ltd. David has extensive experience in uranium processing and has held positions as plant metallurgist through to superintendent on three uranium plants in South Africa, as well as having worked on uranium projects such as ERGO, Key Lake, Ranger, West Rand Consolidated, Kintyre and Langer Heinrich. |
