Projects Overview

Lithic is actively exploring for Nickel and Uranium in Zambia and Mozambique, as well as actively pursuing new business opportunities within Africa.

In Zambia, the company has commenced its uranium exploration efforts by jointly undertaking with Zambezi Resources to fly over 32,000 line kilometres of airborne radiometric and magnetic surveys.

Ground evaluation of known uranium radiometric anomalies has already led to the discovery of the Oryx deposit, which has returned surface sampling grades of up to 6.44% U3O8, and the Mvula anomaly, with rock chip values over 700ppm U3O8.

Lithic is continuing its evaluation of the Mitaba Hills nickel prospect, where initial leach test work indicates very rapid recovery of nickel contained in weathered, saprolitic material.  Future will work will include more definitive metallurgical test work.

In Mozambique, the Company is actively following up the discovery of nickel sulphides at its Mavita project.  Lithic now owns the licences 100% by completing an earn-in agreement with BHP Billiton.  Current activities include the completion of extensive IP and EM ground geophysical surveys, soil sampling, geological mapping of ultramafic units and trenching.

The Company plans to drill test defined target areas in 2008.

Lithic is also running an active business development programme designed to identify and acquire new assets across selected African countries.
